London is getting ready for a spectacular Bank Holiday weekend as Notting Hill Carnival celebrates its 60th anniversary. With its legendary Caribbean culture, vibrant costumes, music, dancing and community spirit, the carnival remains one of the city’s most iconic annual celebrations.
The Mayor of London has provided £4.66 million in additional funding, alongside previously committed funding, to support the carnival’s delivery and enhanced security arrangements for this milestone year.
With events, festivals and cultural experiences taking place across the capital throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, London is once again showing why it remains one of the world’s great cultural destinations.
